Terri Mansfield is the Executive Director and Co-founder of the Arizona Department of Peace (AZDOP) Campaign, an inclusive, proactive, nonpartisan grassroots educational movement, active in all 50 states, which connects individuals and groups to the concept of a United States Department of Peace and Nonviolence (DOP), and empowers citizens to help create a culture of peace. The  mandate is two-fold: to focus on ways to de-escalate violence in America: violence in homes, in schools, in workplaces, in prisons, in the media, in the environment; and to focus on ways to use mediation and conflict resolution skills in deflecting international areas of conflict.
