Desert Rose Bahá'í Institute is a Center of Learning whose mission is to serve both the Bahá'í community and the communities of other faiths and groups. It promotes activities that provide spiritual, artistic, intellectual, agricultural and other practical education for people of all ages and backgrounds.

The campus provides a unique setting for meetings, training sessions, seminars and retreats. Desert Rose is a quiet, peaceful, rural oasis environment located in the Sonoran desert, surrounded by desert flora and breathtaking mountain views. Our campus is alcohol and drug-free.

Desert Rose can host a luncheon for 10 or a one-week retreat for 50 or a meeting for 175 people. Our friendly staff can prepare meals and take care of your needs so you can concentrate on your seminar or retreat.

Our facilities include Eleanor Hadden Hall - a 6,000 sq. ft. meeting and dining hall which seats 175. There is an audio visual room with LCD projector, overhead projector, CD and cassette playing system, lapel and hand-held microphones, and recording equipment (video and cassette). The Hall also has a full commercial kitchen, two classrooms, two covered patio areas and five rest rooms with handicap access.

The Round House is a 4,000 sq. ft. building with a stunning 20 ft. domed skylight in the center. There is a large open meeting area with kitchen. It also serves as our administrative center with office, bookstore and giftshop and a lending library.

The Dorm is a "youth hostel" style dormitory with bunk beds; the male and female rooms sleep 20 each; large bathrooms with showers all have handicap access.  Two family style "dorm parent" rooms with bathroom, sleep up to 5 each.

Additional accommodations at Casa de Rosas include four upstairs guest rooms (each with two twin beds and private bathroom) and a one-bedroom furnished apartment available on daily or weekly rental during your function at Desert Rose.

The Rec Room has table tennis, games, video and television and a nice area to sit and visit. Basketball and volleyball courts are near the dorms; and when the weather is hot, there is nothing so refreshing as a dip in our beautiful swimming pool.
