Desert
Rose Bahá'í Institute has adopted the following standards of conduct to
preserve and enhance group unity and respect the standards of the
Bahá'í Faith. Parents/Sponsors should make sure that children and youth
understand these standards.
- DRBI is an alcohol/drugs/weapon-free campus.
- High standards of morality, courtesy, cleanliness, and modesty of dress and respect for self and others are expected.
- Only
Service Animals are permitted on the grounds or in the buildings.
Attendees staying in a Casa de Rosas apartment, with a pet, MUST pick
up after them and have them on a leash when not in the apartment.
- Please
turn off cell phones or place them on vibrate during sessions. Please
be considerate of others in using all personal electronic devices.
- PARENT(S)/SPONSOR(S)
are responsible for children/jr. youth/youth at all times when not in
class. Sponsor and child must be housed together during the conference.
- Report
accidents or illness to DRBI staff or Director. Medical releases for
minors (18 and under) are necessary if parents are not on campus.
- Visitors and commuters please check in at Registration before proceeding to programmed activities.
- Please observe designated smoking areas.
- A curfew of 9:30 p.m. is suggested for those ages 11 and under. Quiet Hours begin at 11:00 p.m. for all ages.
- FOR YOUR SAFETY -- Drink adequate water; wear proper dress and footwear; be aware of desert wildlife; use a flashlight at night.
