History

The Bahá'í world community, now over 7 million believers, includes and unites people from nearly all nationalities, ethnicities, cultures, tribes, classes, faith traditions, trades, and professions.
Originating in 1844, the Bahá'í community is guided by the Writings of Bahá'u'lláh (1817-1892).

Vision Statement: The vision of Desert Rose Baha'i Institute is to offer integrated programs of spiritually-based education for people of all ages. These programs provide a foundation of divine civilization and a powerful means for the development of human potential.

Mission Statement: Desert Rose Baha'i Institute is a community-based, Baha'i-inspired center of learning for all ages which promotes social, spiritual, intellectual, artistic and practical human development through an expanding range of education and service endeavors.
